Kojima Productions Unveils New Xbox Horror Game ’OD’ Featuring Sophia Lillis, Hunter Schafer, and Udo Kier

Legendary game creator Hideo Kojima revealed fresh details about his upcoming projects during Kojima Productions' 10th anniversary livestream. The Xbox-exclusive horror title, codenamed OD, will star Sophia Lillis (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) as the protagonist, alongside Euphoria's Hunter Schafer and veteran actor Udo Kier in undisclosed roles.

Unlike Kojima's previous Death Stranding franchise which utilized Sony's Decima engine, OD is being developed with Unreal Engine. Despite UE's historical criticism for graphical limitations, Kojima claims the technology will elevate the project "one step higher than Death Stranding 2." Xbox chief Phil Spencer confirmed Microsoft's technical involvement, stating the project was "well underway" and praising its bold, unmistakably Kojima-esque vision.
